KOMTAR, formally the Tun Abdul Razak Complex, is a modernist civic complex of five buildings in George Town's central business district, Penang, Malaysia. Built between 1974 and 1986 to designs by Lim Chong Keat, it centres on Komtar Tower, which at 231.7 metres was the tallest skyscraper in Southeast Asia on its completion in 1985. The complex houses office and retail space, serves as a major bus terminal, and is the seat of the Penang state government.
