Kumobe Kurumazuka Kofun is a zenpō-kōen-fun—a keyhole-shaped burial mound—located in Japan. This architectural form, distinctive to Japanese prehistory and protohistory, combines a circular rear section with a rectangular front platform, creating the characteristic profile from which the type derives its name. Like other kofun of this design, the monument functioned as an elite burial structure, reflecting the social hierarchies and funerary practices of its era.
