Lake View Sanatorium is a former county tuberculosis sanatorium northeast of Lake Mendota in Madison, Wisconsin, and the last county sanatorium built in the state. Its main building, completed in 1929–1930, was designed by local architects Law, Law, & Potter with help from E. A. Stubenrauch, a Milwaukee architect experienced in sanatorium design. Largely functional, it includes some Art Deco elements, and its large porches facing the lake reflected the belief that fresh air aided recovery. Parts of the complex were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.
