Laleh Park is a major urban recreation area in central Tehran, Iran, located north of the University of Tehran in District 6. Originally named Farah Park after Farah Diba, it was renamed Laleh Park—laleh being the Persian word for tulip, a significant symbol in Iranian culture. Designed in the Pahlavi architectural style, the park ranks among Tehran's largest green spaces and is one of approximately 800 parks in the city.
