Lansdowne House, now 9 Fitzmaurice Place, is the surviving part of an aristocratic English town house south of Berkeley Square in the City of Westminster, London. Designed by Robert Adam in the Georgian style, it was originally called Shelburne House and renamed in 1784 when its owner became Marquess of Lansdowne. A local authority approach road built in 1931 removed roughly half of its greater wing, and the house has been Grade II* listed since 1970.
