The Sanctuary of Las Lajas is a Catholic minor basilica in the canyon of the Guáitara River near Ipiales, Nariño Department, Colombia. Built in neo-Gothic style between 1916 and 1949 to a design by Lucindo Maria Espinosa Medina, it encloses a Marian image on a rock wall that believers regard as of divine origin. It is a National Monument of Colombia and a pilgrimage site for believers from Colombia and Ecuador.
