Laugharne Castle stands on the estuary of the River Tâf in Laugharne, Carmarthenshire, Wales. Established in 1116, it was rebuilt as a Norman stronghold and later converted into a Tudor fortified manor house in the sixteenth century. During the English Civil War it changed hands twice before Parliamentary forces captured it in 1644. It is a National Monument of Wales, a Grade I listed building and a scheduled monument.
