León Cathedral, the Catholic episcopal seat of the diocese of León in north-western Spain, is a Gothic monument with French influences, initiated in the 13th century and also known as the Pulchra Leonina. It pushes Gothic "dematerialization" of walls to an extreme, reducing them to a minimum and replacing them with stained glass, forming one of the largest collections of medieval stained glass in the world. It stands on the Camino de Santiago.
