Les Hanois Lighthouse is a 36-metre stone tower standing on the rock Le Biseau, part of the Les Hanois reef about a mile northwest of Pleinmont, off the western coast of Guernsey near Torteval. Built between 1860 and 1862 and first lit on 8 December 1862, it was erected in response to a growing number of shipwrecks on the treacherous surrounding rocks. Its design is credited to both James Walker and James Nicholas Douglass.
