Limburg Cathedral, also called Georgsdom after its dedication to Saint George, stands on a rock above the old town of Limburg an der Lahn in Hesse, Germany, and is visible from far away. It is the cathedral of the Catholic Diocese of Limburg. Originally an Early Romanesque church, it was modernised in the Early Gothic style, giving it a Romanesque-Gothic transitional character. Willy Weyres is credited as architect.
