Longships Lighthouse stands on Carn Bras, the highest of the Longships islets, about 1.25 miles (2.0 km) off Land's End in Cornwall, England. It is the second lighthouse built on that rock, dating from 1875, and is built of granite and stone to a height of 35 m. Automated in 1988 and its keepers withdrawn, it is now monitored remotely from the Trinity House Operations & Planning Centre in Harwich, Essex.
