Lowestoft Lighthouse is a Trinity House lighthouse on the North Sea coast, north of Lowestoft's centre in Suffolk, close to Ness Point, the most easterly point in the United Kingdom. Built in 1874, its 16-metre tower is the most easterly lighthouse in the UK and warns shipping along the east coast. Its light has a range of 23 nautical miles, and it was automated in 1975.
