The Lviv High Castle is a ruined castle on the summit of Castle Hill in Lviv, Ukraine, at 413 metres above sea level, the highest point in the city. Standing on a site dating to 1270, it was once surrounded by a fortification wall close to the city centre and served as a main defensive fort of Lviv. The hill took its name from the castle, which stood there from the 13th century to the late 19th century.
