Maebashi-tenjinnyama-kofun is a zenpō-kōen-fun, or keyhole-shaped burial mound, located in Japan. This type of kofun—the distinctive tumuli that characterize early Japanese funerary architecture—features the characteristic front rectangular section and rear circular mound that gives the form its descriptive name. The zenpō-kōen-fun style represents a significant development in Japanese mortuary practice during the kofun period.
