The Magen David Synagogue stands at the junction of Brabourne Road and Canning Street (Biplabi Rashbehari Road) in Ward No. 45 of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation, India. Built in 1884 in the Renaissance Revival style, it is 43 metres tall. It is Kolkata's second operating synagogue, after Beth El Synagogue on Pollock Street, and holds KMC Heritage Building Grade I status and the designation of a Monument of National Importance.
