Maison Louis Carré is a residential building in Bazoches-sur-Guyonne, France, designed by Finnish modernist architects Elissa and Alvar Aalto and completed in 1959. Built for art collectors Olga and Louis Carré, the house was conceived not only as a family home but also as a showcase for their exceptional collection of modern and African art. The couple's vision for the site—located on the edge of the forest of Rambouillet—was shaped by their experience staying in Jean Monnet's house while he was stationed in Luxembourg. The house is now classified as a historical monument.
