Saints Peter and Paul Parish Church, commonly called Makati Church, stands in Makati Poblacion as the mother church of the city. Built in 1620, the structure exemplifies baroque architecture and remains under the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Manila. Situated before Plaza Cristo Rey—a plaza that once served as the San Pedro de Macati Cemetery—the church anchors the cultural and heritage heart of Makati. In 2023, the National Museum of the Philippines formally recognized it as an Important Cultural Property.
