Manchester Cathedral, formally the Cathedral and Collegiate Church of St Mary, St Denys and St George, stands on Victoria Street in Manchester city centre, England. It is the mother church of the Anglican Diocese of Manchester, which it has served as cathedral since 1847. Rebuilt in the Perpendicular Gothic style after the collegiate body was founded in 1421, it retains late-medieval wooden furnishings commissioned by James Stanley II. It is a Grade I listed building.
