The Mancos Opera House, at 136 W. Grand Avenue in Mancos, Colorado, is a three-story commercial block built in 1910 by A.J. Ames and George Woods, who engaged architect W.L. Morse to design it. Its ground floor held a drug store and a meat and grocery, while the second-floor opera hall hosted high school graduations, traveling shows, and Montezuma County's first moving picture show. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988, it is also known as Checkerboard Hall.
