The Monastery of the Martyrs Mar Behnam and Marth Sarah, commonly called Mar Behnam Monastery, is a brick monastery in the village of Khidr Ilyas near the town of Beth Khdeda (Bakhdida) in northern Iraq. Built in the Romanesque style, it was a Syriac Orthodox monastery until the 19th century and is now Syriac Catholic. In March 2015 the Islamic State heavily damaged its tomb of Mar Behnam and defaced the exterior murals; repairs were completed by early December 2018.
