Margat Castle, also known as Marqab Castle, is an archaeological site near Baniyas in Syria, about 2 kilometres from the Mediterranean coast and roughly 6 kilometres south of Baniyas. Its construction is recorded from 1062. It was one of the major strongholds of the Knights Hospitaller, the Crusader order that held it, and it remained in poor condition until reconstruction and renovation began in 2007.
