The Marquette Building is a Chicago School landmark in the Loop community area of Chicago, Illinois. Completed in 1895 by the George A. Fuller Company to designs by Holabird & Roche, it is considered one of the best examples of the Chicago School and one of the early steel frame skyscrapers, noted for its frame and ornate interior. Its reddish terra cotta exterior was darkened by decades of soot before a four-year restoration completed in 2006 by its owner, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.
