The Martin County Courthouse stands on a hill at 201 Lake Avenue on the western side of Fairmont, Minnesota, overlooking Lake Sisseton. Designed by Charles E. Bell in the Beaux-Arts style, it is crowned by a high copper dome with four clock faces. Its first floor is Michigan sandstone, the upper stories Bedford limestone, and the arched entrance is flanked by polished double Corinthian columns beneath a pediment. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
