The Mayflower House Museum is an 18th-century historic house museum in Plymouth, Massachusetts, operated by The Mayflower Society (the General Society of Mayflower Descendants). Built in 1754 by Edward Winslow, a loyalist who later fled to Halifax, Nova Scotia, the Georgian-style mansion was bought by the Society in 1941 and retains its 18th-century period decorations and furnishings. Ralph Waldo Emerson married his second wife, Lidian Jackson Emerson, in its parlor in 1835.
