Built in 1917 in Bergen, Netherlands, Meezennest is a residential house designed by Margaret Staal-Kropholler in the Amsterdam School style. The building exemplifies the architectural language of this early twentieth-century movement, characterized by expressive brickwork, sculptural forms, and organic ornamentation. Recognized as a Rijksmonument, the house remains an important example of Staal-Kropholler's domestic architecture and of the Amsterdam School's influence beyond Amsterdam itself.
