The Melbourne Australia Temple stands in Wantirna South, Melbourne, Victoria, and is the 90th operating temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Announced by the church's First Presidency on 30 October 1998, it was the first temple in Melbourne and in Victoria, and is one of five in Australia. Its modern design features a single spire topped by a statue of the angel Moroni, and it is built of snow-white granite.
