Mercat Central is an Art Nouveau market hall in Tarragona, Spain, designed by architect Josep Maria Pujol i de Barberà and completed in 1911. The structure exemplifies the decorative sensibilities of early twentieth-century Catalan modernisme through its use of wrought iron and stone, materials that frame the functional market space with distinctive stylistic flourishes characteristic of the period. Designated a Cultural Asset of Local Interest, the building remains an important example of regional architectural heritage and the era's approach to public market design.
