The Mérida Mexico Temple is a temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico, and the first in the Yucatán Peninsula. Designed by architect Alvaro Inigo with church architectural personnel in a classic modern style, it is clad in Guardiano white marble from Torreón, Mexico, and topped by a single spire with a statue of the angel Moroni. Thomas S. Monson dedicated it on July 8, 2000.
