The Městské divadlo Karlovy Vary is a historicist theatre built in 1880 in the Bohemian spa town of Karlovy Vary, designed by the prolific Viennese architectural partnership Fellner & Helmer. Now designated a cultural monument of the Czech Republic, the building exemplifies the grand civic theatres that the firm produced across Central Europe during the late nineteenth century, when theatre construction flourished as a mark of urban prosperity and cultural aspiration.
