Molochov is a functionalist block of houses in Prague 7, on Milada Horáková Street along the north side of Letná Park. Built between 1936 and 1938, it is composed of fourteen building units joined by a single façade designed by Josef Havlíček. Its popular name derives from Moloch, a nod to its colossal façade, 252 metres long and 16.5 metres high. The Kohn brothers, Otto and Karel, designed seven of the units but fled Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia in 1938, and Havlíček completed their part. It has been protected as a historical monument since 1964.
