The Municipal Theatre of Sfax, designed by architect Raphaël Guy and completed in 1903, was a Moorish Revival theatre that served the Tunisian port city until its destruction in 1942. Built during the height of French colonial influence in North Africa, the structure exemplified the period's architectural fusion of European theatre design with ornamental Islamic motifs characteristic of Moorish Revival style.
