The Nannie Lee House, commonly known as Strawberry Mansion, is a Queen Anne–style residence built in 1905 by John B. Lee and his wife Nannie McBride Lee, who had relocated from Albion, New York to Melbourne, Florida. The house passed to Lily Tidwell, Nannie Lee's adopted granddaughter, in 1929 and remained in her family's hands for decades. From 1981 to 2007, the structure operated as a restaurant bearing its popular nickname. Following its sale in 2010, new ownership converted it to another food business in 2011. The house has accumulated local folklore regarding paranormal activity, though no documented evidence substantiates these claims.
