The Narkomfin Building, a block of flats on Novinsky Boulevard in Moscow's Central district, stands as a landmark of Constructivist architecture and avant-garde housing design. Built in 1930 by architect Moisei Ginzburg, it was conceived as a "transitional type of experimental house" that embodied the modernist principles of its era. Though designated a Cultural Heritage Monument on Russia's cultural register, the building fell into disrepair over decades, with many units abandoned. A three-year restoration campaign culminated in its official reopening on 9 July 2020.
