The National Capitol of Colombia stands on Plaza de Bolívar in central Bogotá and houses both houses of the Congress of Colombia. Designed by Thomas Reed in the Neoclassical style, its construction began in 1848 and was finished in 1926. It is listed among the National Monuments of Colombia.
