The National Diet Building in Nagatachō, Chiyoda, Tokyo, is where both houses of the National Diet of Japan meet. Completed in 1936 in the Neoclassical style, it is built of steel-reinforced concrete and pierre and stands 65.45 metres tall. The House of Representatives sits in the south wing and the House of Councillors in the north wing. Apart from its stained glass, door locks, and pneumatic tube system, it was built entirely of Japanese materials.
