Naumburg Cathedral stands in Naumburg, Germany, as the former cathedral of the Bishopric of Naumburg-Zeitz and remains a Protestant parish church. Largely dating from the 13th century and built of dimension stone, it is a renowned landmark of German late Romanesque architecture. Its west choir, with donor statues of the twelve founders and the Lettner by the Naumburg Master, ranks among the most significant early Gothic monuments. It was recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2018.
