Neptune's Fountain stands in Gdańsk's Długi Targ (Long Market) before the Artus Court, a Mannerist-Rococo masterpiece completed in 1633. This historic fountain ranks among the city's most distinctive landmarks, its sculptural form combining the ornamental exuberance of Rococo style with Mannerist restraint. The monument is cherished locally, with Kashubians affectionately calling the sculpture Krësztof. Now a protected immovable monument in Poland, it remains a defining feature of Gdańsk's architectural heritage.
