Nesvizh Castle, in the Minsk region of Belarus, is a residential castle of the Radziwiłł family, begun in 1583 to designs attributed to Giovanni Maria Bernardoni and built across the 16th and 17th centuries. Repeatedly sacked, damaged and abandoned, it was extensively restored between 2004 and 2012. Inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2005 with the nearby Corpus Christi Church, it was instrumental in the development of Central European and Russian architecture.
