New City Hall (Nová radnice) is an interwar Czech Modernist town hall complex on Sokolská třída in Ostrava, on the left bank of the Ostravice River just outside the old town. Construction began in 1924 and the building was inaugurated in 1930. Because the subsoil was unstable, its 85.6-metre clock tower was built as a lightweight steel structure clad in copper and glass. The building is a national cultural monument of the Czech Republic.
