The New Palace (Neues Palais) stands on the western side of the Sanssouci park in Potsdam, Germany. Begun in 1763 under Frederick the Great after the Seven Years' War and completed in 1769, it is considered the last great Prussian Baroque palace. It is built of plaster and brick, and its architects are credited as Jean-Laurent Le Geay, Heinrich Ludewig Manger, Johann Gottfried Büring and Carl von Gontard.
