Newcastle Cathedral, formally the Cathedral Church of St Nicholas, is a Church of England cathedral in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, and the seat of the Bishop of Newcastle. Its current building was completed in 1350 in the Perpendicular style, succeeding a Norman church that was destroyed by fire in 1216.
