The Nieuwe Kerk is a Protestant church on the Markt in Delft, Netherlands, opposite the City Hall. Built in the Gothic style from 1496, it is a Rijksmonument rising 108.75 metres. It is the burial place of William the Silent, entombed in 1584 in a mausoleum designed by Hendrick and Pieter de Keyser, and members of the House of Orange-Nassau have been entombed in its royal crypt since. Its tower, with a recreated spire designed by Pierre Cuypers and completed in 1872, is the second highest in the Netherlands after the Domtoren in Utrecht.
