Located at 31 Princeton Street near the North Chelmsford village center, the North Town Hall is a two-and-a-half-story wood-frame structure built in 1853 with Greek Revival styling. One of two historic 19th-century town halls in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, it alternated with the Centre Town Hall for hosting town meetings until 1885, after which it served as a community meeting hall and polling station through 1967. The town subsequently converted it to house school administration offices before a full restoration in 2011 returned it to community center use. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015, the building reflects the eclectic and Victorian sensibilities of its era alongside its Greek Revival design.
