The Norwegian Institute of Technology (Norges tekniske høgskole, NTH) was a science institute in Trondheim, Norway, established in 1910. Operating as an independent technical university for 58 years, it educated master-level engineers and architects. In 1996 its organizational structure was dissolved, and its departments became basic units of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), on the Gløshaugen campus named for its geographical location.
