Novara Cathedral, dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, stands on the Piazza della Repubblica in Novara, Piedmont, Italy, and is the seat of the Bishop of Novara. Its Neoclassical present building was designed by Alessandro Antonelli and built between 1863 and 1869, replacing an earlier church consecrated in 1132. The new structure incorporates elements of its predecessor, including the presbytery's mosaic floor and a chapel dedicated to Saint Syrus.
