Oakwood Cemetery is a nonsectarian rural cemetery in northeastern Troy, New York, operated by the Troy Cemetery Association, a nonprofit board. Established in 1848 and opened in 1850 to a design by architect John C. Sidney, it was the fourth rural cemetery opened in New York. Its grounds include four man-made lakes, a chapel, a crematorium, and 24 mausolea, and it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
