The Old Berkeley County Courthouse stands in Mount Pleasant, Charleston County, South Carolina. Built in 1884 in the Italianate style, this two-story, rectangular building of stucco over brick has large matching double stairways leading to its second-floor main entrance. It served as the Berkeley County courthouse until 1898, then as a church for Baptist and Lutheran congregations until 1968. It is now the G. Mcgrath Darby Building, and it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.
