Old Bethel United Methodist Church stands at 222 Calhoun Street in Charleston, South Carolina, and is the oldest Methodist church still standing in the city. Built around 1797 or 1798 for the Bethel Methodist congregation, the wooden building was moved in 1854 and reserved for its Black members. In 1882 the Bethel Methodist officials gave it to them, and it was moved across to the north side of Calhoun Street, formerly Boundary Street. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.
