Built in 1925 in Haines City, Florida, the Old Central Grammar School exemplifies Mediterranean Revival and Spanish Revival architecture, designed by Edward Columbus Hosford. Originally constructed as a gymnasium and school building, it served its educational purpose before later converting to community theatre use. The structure gained recognition when it was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 17, 1994, and now operates as part of Daniel Jenkins Academy of Technology, a middle school within the Polk County Public Schools district.
