One Magnificent Mile is a 57-storey mixed-use tower completed in 1983 at the northern end of Michigan Avenue in Chicago, at the head of the Magnificent Mile shopping corridor beside the Oak Street shops. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, it holds upscale retail on its lower floors, offices on floors 4 through 19, and 181 luxury condominiums above. At completion it was the tenth-tallest building in Chicago.
